Coaching works best when paired with your hormone and lab data. By understanding your unique biomarkers, we can help you to build a nutrition roadmap that is clinically precise and individual to your goals.
Beyond the Scale: InBody Composition Scans
At AesthetiKa, we know that the number on a scale does not tell the whole story. Weight alone cannot distinguish between muscle gain, fat loss, or water retention. To give you a truly accurate picture of your health, we utilize the InBody 580 device. This is an FDA-approved body composition analyzer that provides a detailed breakdown of your internal health in less than a minute.
By moving beyond simple weight measurements, we can ensure that your medical weight loss, hormone replacement therapy or sports nutrition goals are working exactly as intended. This data allows our team of clinically qualified professionals to fine-tune your nutrition and movement goals based on your specific body chemistry.
What Your InBody Results Reveal:
Lean Muscle Mass:
We track your muscle levels in each area of the body to ensure you are maintaining strength and metabolic vitality while losing body fat.
Visceral Fat Level:
We measure the "hidden" fat stored around your abdominal organs, which is a key indicator of metabolic and cardiovascular health.
Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR):
InBody technology calculates the estimated number of calories your body burns at rest, allowing for custom nutrition planning based on individual goals with clinical precision.
Hydration and Inflammation:
The scan measures intracellular and extracellular water levels, helping to identify issues with hydration or systemic inflammation.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is functional nutrition coaching?
Functional nutrition is a biology-based approach that looks at how your food choices interact with your unique system. Rather than just counting calories, we focus on the root causes of your symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, or weight loss resistance. We use your lab data to understand how nutrition can help balance your hormones and improve your metabolic health.
How is health coaching different from seeing a dietitian?
While both focus on nutrition, our health coaching at AesthetiKa is a more holistic and patient-directed experience. We do not just hand you a meal plan and send you on your way. We provide the ongoing accountability and habit-change strategies needed to integrate those changes into your actual life. Our approach is also deeply integrated with your medical care and lab results.
Do I need to be on a weight loss or HRT program to use coaching?
No, you do not. While many of our patients use coaching to enhance their results with medical weight loss or hormone replacement therapy, our nutrition services are available to anyone. Whether you want to optimize your energy, improve your digestion, or simply build healthier habits, you can work with Liz as a standalone service. This service is available individually or as couples/partners.
How does nutrition affect hormone balance?
Your hormones and your nutrition are constantly communicating. The foods you eat can either stabilize your blood sugar and support hormone production or they can contribute to inflammation and insulin resistance. By optimizing your intake of protein and fiber, we help create the internal environment your body needs for your hormones to function at their best.
What does a typical coaching session look like?
Every session is tailored to your current needs. We usually begin by reviewing your recent progress and any challenges you faced since our last meeting. We may look at updated InBody scans or lab work to track your physiological changes. From there, we work together to set realistic goals for the coming weeks, such as adjusting your protein intake or refining your supplement routine.
Is coaching done in person or virtually?
We offer both options to fit your lifestyle. You are welcome to visit our clinic in downtown Windsor for in-person sessions and InBody scans. We also offer fully HIPAA-compliant virtual consultations for patients throughout Colorado or those who prefer the convenience of meeting from home.
How long does a typical coaching program last?
We generally recommend a starting point of three or six months, usually every other week. True habit change and metabolic shifts take time. Having consistent support across at least two seasons ensures that your new lifestyle becomes permanent. However, we meet you where you are and can adjust the length of your program based on your personal goals and progress.
